The Evolutionary Birth of Evolutionary Ideas

If we have advanced so far down the evolution line, why do we still get food stuck behind our teeth?

Possible Evolutionary Solutions

A. Tongue long enough to reach the back of your mouth (now everyone can touch their nose)

B. Flexible jaw movements to squeeze out the stuck food (more chompin' power too)

C. Slippery teeth (eat chewy sweet w/o having to worry abt 'em being stuck!)

D. Wider rear jaw cavity (which will also solve the problem of me biting my rear gums)

E. Circular mouth (no edges/narrow cavity!)

F. Acidic saliva (dissolves whatever food left in the mouth)

G. Pyramid-shaped teeth (lots of bite, & food can pass through them easily, but everyone'll have ugly smiles)

I don't know, but these sure make good reading material on wacky chewing gum wrappers.
