A Penny For Your Thoughts

How do you convince someone about your opinions?
Write it down on a banknote.

Do you think there are as many different opinions as the number of banknotes circulating the world? So which ones would be written on $100 notes, or 50 $2 notes?

It doesn't matter what thoughts you have; the form of expression & mode of communication make or break your intent. We paint the colours with our words, & draw sides with wit & deceit.

It doesn't matter if your thoughts are straight or your conscience is clear, all you need is a quick mind & convincing speech.

It's really tiring talking to people these days. You can never really say anything straight to the point anymore. Everything must be packaged, abridged, adapted to personal preferences. It's so hard to establish back that layer of trust that people used to have when we were all in childhood. Similarly, you find yourself so much more suspicious of people, feelings that you will never have, or at least not felt so commonly.

I talk to people at work for 15 minutes and I'm all worn out mentally. Trying to sell my ideas, to beware not to get tricked into giving in, fighting a war of logic.

Why do we even need to talk so much just to get things done?
